Originally developed for the commercial grower, Vitax Q4 Professional has proved to be an outstanding general purpose fertiliser for use on a wide range of crops. Contains the vital plant foods and trace elements essential for vigorous plant growth, abundant flowering and ripening of fruit. Vitax Q4 Professional is in powder form for faster initial nutrient release, ideal for use when producing your own composts.
Directions for use
Apply evenly to soil, preferably when the soil is moist. Lightly hoe into the top surface of the soil and, in dry conditions, water in.
Roses - apply at 140g per square metre prior to planting or, for established bushes, as an annual dressing in the spring.
Flowers and vegetables - Use 140g per square metre before sowing and planting. Top dress vegetables at 70g per square metre once or twice during the summer months.
Fruit - Apply before planting or, for established plants, in early spring. When top dressing, apply Vitax A4 Professional evenly to the soil surface beneath the leaves and branches of the tree or shrub.
Apples Pears, Plums: 175g per square metre.
Currants, Gooseberries, Raspberries: 140g per square metre.
Strawberries: 70-100g per square metre.
Tomatoes and Chrysanthemums - Apply 200g per square metre before planting in soil. Spread 35g per square metre as a regular feed at 3-4 week intervals.
