Sphagnum Peat, due to its unique physical structure, gives the optimum balance of air, water and nutrient holding capacity essential to keep your plants looking healthy all throughout the growing season.

The fertiliser in this product is a blend of all the essential elements required for optimum growth performance: Nitrogen(N), Phosphorus(P), Potassium(K) + Micro Nutrients (Mg, Ca, Mn, Mo, Fe, Zn, Cu, B).

The pH of this product has been adjusted to give optimum nutrient up-take for a wide variety of plants and crops. This product is not suitable for Ericaceous (lime hating) species.

Regular watering of this product is advisable and it is not advisable to let it dry out completely. A wetting agent has been incorporated into this product at the time of manufacture which will aid the re-wetting and capillary action of the growing media.

This product is intended for use in tubs, baskets, potting-on, cuttings and general soil improvement. It may also be used for seed sowing, but it would be recommended to sieve the product for use in small seed cells.

For longer term crops such as pot plants and hanging baskets supplementary feeding may be required after 4 weeks to further enhance the product during the growing season, either with a liquid or slow release feed.
